Recon - Targeted at gay men, this website is a prime source for locating other kinksters near you! Free and pay memberships available.
Gearfetish - Similar to Recon, but has a different control structure, and the focus here is more on GEAR. Scores of people to preview.
GuyzinGear - Similar to the other sites but the tagline is that this is a gay fetish VIDEO community.
Facebook - Surprisingly enough, there's a huge kinky community on facebook. Check out my profile, it might provide a good starting point.
Fetlife - A site similar to facebook that has hundreds of profiles of people of all genders, races, and orientations. I'm new to this site but so far it looks amazing!
General/Regional
Midwest BLGT/Ally College Conference - Although this isn't a kink event, it is a very open, accepting conference. If you're a college student and you care at all about BLGT rights, this is the conference for you! I have presented "Intro to Kink" workshops there the past two years and hope to continue to do so in the future. The 2010 Conference will be in Madison, WI in February.

The Minneapolis Eagle - The "Eagle" is a loosely affiliated leather/levi/bear/bondage bar throughout the country. The Minneapolis location certainly delivers all that!
Twin Cities Leather - A great leather and bondage shop located in Minneapolis. They do sales through their website! I'm one of the owners of this place too. Located at 300 Clifton Ave, Suite 001!
Ground Zero Nightclub - A pansexual bar, featuring "bondage a go-go" night. Female dominatrixes but an accepting crowd. No website, but they do have profiles on Facebook and Myspace for more info. Otherwise, 15 4th St. NE Minneapolis, MN 612.378.5115. Open Fri and Sat, 10:00 pm - 2:00 am.

JJ's Clubhouse - Bear/Levis/Leather bar in St. Louis.
Bad Dog's Saloon - "A Friendly Bar with an Edge" in St. Louis. Hosts leather and kink events weekly, including a bondage education session known as "Rope U".
Columbia Erotic Power Exchange(CEPE) - A BDSM group located in mid-Missouri.
