I've decided to go for it.
Too many of my friends have told me they thought it would be a good idea. In fact, MNHot1 told me that he would bite me if I didn't do it. Looks like I'm locked in, so to speak.
I'm excited. I haven't had a really big project like this to obsess over for a while, so the big guns are being pulled out(I can get somewhat neurotic about these things; I don't like to do a half assed job). Planning will be everything. The research phase has already begun, the workout and diet routines have already been decided upon. Yes, I'm going through the nursing process for this. The Assessment and Diagnosis phases have already been executed, the Planning phase is currently being carried out, and the Intervention phase will begin next week.
I'm going to try to speak with someone at the Eagle about sponsorship. I don't know quite how that would work, but hey, it's worth a shot, right?
Anyone out there who can assist with rubber fashion (will need to get new outfits), presentation ideas, interview tips, etc. is very welcome to provide them.
Not that I'm disappointed at all with the rubber scene in MPLS. As you can see, rubber makes quite an appearance at Gear Night...

Hey, that's awesome! Look forward to seein' ya compete. :) That's something I've wanted to do too (if this "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" thing ever goes away, that is). Seeya in November!

Way to go, Mister! It's going to be a great time, and definitely an experience seeing it all unfold from the stage rather than the audience, so to speak. I may even join you up there! :D
